Colours

 

Have you ever thought how colours get their names? 

Some colours get their names from flowers (lavender, rose, marigold). Some other get their names from fruits (orange, plum, peach, strawberry). In other times, we get them from drinks (coffee, chocolate, mocha, buttermilk, champagne, cream). Geologists also have their creations (cobalt, gold, silver). Meanwhile, let's not forget soldiers in uniforms (khaki brown, navy blue). Long time ago, royals have their colours too (burgundy, prussian). What about countries? (turqouise, china). And people too (baby pink) 🙂
